Reconstruction of NOOR Road by Italian PRT_Herat

Herat, July the 28^th 2009.

Today the PRT team has joined the building site for refurbishment of Imam Shish Noor Street: the project, carried on from Afghan Authorities, is constituted by refurbishment of road surface trough gravelling and asphalt’s laying.The rehabilitation of Imam Shish Noor Street is one of the most important project leaded by Afghan Authorities, involving renovation for about 15 kms of asphalt road.

The PRT team is as usual concerned in local activities promoted and conducted by government agencies.

Therefore today the PRT representative, in presence of Abdul Vahid for Rehabilitation and Rural Department, has donated to Haji Sia Kahn Chongar, as local population representative, a further 10.000 lts of fuel supply, for a total amount of 30.000 lts needed to run working machines, taking once more the opportunity to share resources in order to achieve a faster works’ progression.
