Stone Foundation of Training Center By Italian PRT in Herat Jail

Herat, November the 09^th 2009.

Today at 10 AM, took place the ceremony of one between the many projects that Italian PRT is realizing in Herat’s province. The CIMIC Center was requested to take up the project by the local authorities, in particular by the Justice Department of HERAT, in order to realize a building into the existing Jail of Herat City to use like “training room” for the prisoners as well as “visiting room” for their parents in Herat City.

In detail the buildings, that has a cost of 50.161 Euro, will be constituted by a structure type “columns and beams” in reinforced concrete. It will be complete of all the finish, such as painting, iron doors and windows, inner wooden doors, oil painting, part of toilet accessories, wood fires in steel, climates.

The building is a part of a wider project aiming at the reorganization the Ministry of Justice compound where Herat Provincial Jail is located.

The Italian Representatives were composed by the RC-W Commander, Brigadier General Alessandro VELTRI, Brigadier General MARTIN- US Army, PRT Commander, Col. Claudio Dei and the PRT CIMIC.C Commander, Lt. Col. Fabrizio Zacchè.
