PRT Commander Col. Michele BRANDONISIO participated to a meeting with the Governor of Zandejan District of Herat Province.SITUATION:

Mr. Haji Mohammad Dadud SHAH, Governor of Zandejan District of Herat Province.
Mr. SHAH explained that Zandejan is a peaceful District with a very low criminality rate and without poppy cultivation. The local economy is based on agriculture and the educational sector is well functioning thanks to the presence of 22 school (6 high school and 1 madrassa).
The local population is composed by 50% pashtoon and 50% tagiki
Mr. SHAHA continued asking to the PRT Commander some facilities for the new governmental building that is under construction
The PRT Commander congratulated the Governor on his profitable administrative works and suggested him to present all the infrastructural District projects to the Provincial Development Committee because in these weeks it is working for the 2010 Master Plan.
